Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Animator to join our team at Apex Systems. As a Technical Animator, you will be responsible for collaborating with peers to develop and maintain gameplay animation systems in Unreal Engine 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to implement animation state machines, behaviors, and runtime solutions.
  • Develop and support animation behavior tools and techniques to enable complex movement systems.
  • Troubleshoot in-game animation implementation issues.
  • Provide technical support to the animation team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the animation pipeline and implement solutions for technical animation efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in AAA video game development with real-time animation systems.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine is a plus.
  • Real-time engine experience, ideally in Unreal creating animation blueprints.
  • Knowledge of Python is a benefit.
  • Self-motivated, creative problem solver with excellent communication skills.

  • Professional portfolio required at submission stage.
