About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction General Manager to join our team at Syms Canada Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management
    • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including project managers, engineers, and technicians.
    • Provide guidance, support, and coaching to ensure team members have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
  • Financial Management
    • Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.
    • Ensure projects are completed within budget and that financial resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all construction work meets the highest quality standards, including safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues.

Requirements
  • Education

  • Experience
