About the Role

This position is accountable for fabricating spare components and various other Tool and Die components using the CNC / EDM Process. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining tools, dies, and fixtures to support a Production Schedule.

Your Responsibilities
  • Fabricate punches, dies, and other various tool and die components using the CNC / EDM Process
  • Machine components to support CNC / EDM Process using all applicable Toolroom machinery
  • Maintain and track the critical component inventory within the Wireroom
  • Capable of using Toolroom machinery
  • Ensure fabricated components are completed in an efficient and prioritized manner
  • Design and implement as well as keep track of tooling related changes and make necessary changes to the Master Die files
  • Create math data for outside services
  • Create drawings for Tool Makers
  • Capable of making suggestions for continuous improvements on tooling
  • Maintain work area in a clean and organized manner
  • Perform basic CNC / EDM equipment maintenance
  • Program CMC and Wire EDM machines
  • Must be aware of relevance and importance of their activities and how it affects quality and the environment for our customers
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements
  • Completion of high school or equivalent
  • 1 to less than 3 years of work-related experience
  • Minimum 1 year college-level CNC programming
  • Minimum 2 years CNC/EDM Machine Operation/Program Experience
