Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanics Supervisor

KBS Heavy Duty Mechanics Ltd. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanics Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of our heavy equipment fleet. The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of heavy equipment mechanics to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections of heavy equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to heavy equipment mechanics to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs to ensure they are within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a noisy and hot environment, with frequent exposure to heavy equipment and machinery.

Work Setting:

The position will be based in a commercial and industrial setting, with regular travel to various work sites.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
