About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operations Supervisor to join our team at Simply Sofaworks & More Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for coordinating work activities, establishing methods to meet work schedules, and preparing production reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless production
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and improve productivity
  • Prepare production reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Set up machines and equipment to ensure efficient production
  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of workers to meet production goals
  • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a production or supervisory role
  • Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced production environment
