Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Corporate Services Lawyer to take on a pivotal role within our legal team. This position is offered on a hybrid basis, allowing for flexibility in work location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Legal and Head of Litigation in navigating complex commercial litigation matters.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
- Provide clear and straightforward legal advice, ensuring complex information is easily understood.
- Stay informed on current laws, best practices, and legal trends to support the company's corporate and commercial objectives.
- Engage with business stakeholders on legal issues, ensuring they are well-informed and updated on relevant matters.
- Conduct thorough legal research and provide expert advice on litigation-related issues.
- Adopt a commercial perspective when addressing legal and business risks.
- Act as a vital member of the legal team, handling intricate commercial litigation and regulatory enforcement matters.
- Deliver concise, commercially-focused advice to senior leadership regarding litigation.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience as a Commercial Litigation Solicitor.
- Experience with FCA regulatory enforcement is essential.
- Familiarity with financial services and outsourcing matters is advantageous but not mandatory.
