Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Earthmovers Equipment Services Inc. as a full-time Equipment Maintenance Professional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and perform repairs independently both on-site and in the shop.
  • Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently, and maintain a high level of mechanical system knowledge.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and hydraulics.
  • Experience with diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in heavy equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose faults independently and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy parts and perform manual labor.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced equipment maintenance environment.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software and technologies.
