Job Description

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a part-time English teacher to join our team at our Oakville location. As an English teacher, you will work directly with students as an Interactive Coach, providing guidance and support to help them succeed in English and develop their self-confidence and self-esteem.

Responsibilities
  • Teach up to 3 students at a time at different levels
  • Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes
  • Completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum
Working Conditions
  • Evenings
  • Monday to Friday
  • Saturday availability
Compensation

$23.00 per hour
