Position Overview

As a Chef de Partie, you will exhibit excellence in all culinary tasks. Your enthusiasm for gastronomy and dedication to quality will inspire those around you. You will demonstrate initiative, collaborate effectively with your team, and approach your responsibilities with a strong sense of purpose. Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to guest preferences will be paramount in your role.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Execute tasks assigned by the Sous Chef, Head Chef, or General Manager
  • Prepare food daily in accordance with our culinary standards
  • Adhere to recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines established by the kitchen
  • Maintain an organized prep list for your station
  • Implement the FIFO method to ensure ingredient freshness
  • Assist with inventory management and control
  • Help in the proper receiving and storage of deliveries
  • Ensure cleanliness of food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils while following sanitation and food safety protocols
  • Comply with WHMIS and MSDS regulations
  • Perform additional duties as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • Culinary diploma or degree is preferred
  • Proficient in professional cooking techniques and knife skills
  • Ability to follow directions and maintain composure under pressure
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Serve Safe certification is required
