Job Title: Hairdresser

We are seeking a skilled and creative Hairdresser to join our team at Artistic Hair Designs.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional hair cutting, coloring, and styling services to our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to showcase their skills and contribute to the success of our salon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cut and style hair according to client preferences and instructions
  • Shampoo and condition hair
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches
  • Provide hair treatments such as waving, straightening, and tinting
  • Supervise junior staff members
  • Apply hair extensions
  • Clean and style wigs and hair pieces
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair
  • Suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences
  • Perform receptionist duties
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the hairdressing industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
Work Setting:

The successful candidate will be working in a busy barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio environment.

Supervision:

The Hairdresser will be supervised by senior staff members and will be responsible for supervising junior staff members.Hair Styling Techniques:
