Electrical Project Manager

The Project Manager will be tasked with directing electrical projects, allocating resources efficiently, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines, and supervising designated Field Electricians. This role serves as the primary liaison for client inquiries while upholding exceptional customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Project Manager:

  • Oversee electrical projects, ensuring they remain within budget, timeline, and quality standards.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to position Spark Power as the preferred solution provider for clients.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, environmental, and quality standards for all projects.
  • Utilize budgets to assess performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage project timelines to fulfill client commitments, including work order management and invoice approvals.
  • Oversee project deliverables from the estimation phase through to project completion.
  • Possess the ability to interpret control circuits, control panels, and technical drawings.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including kick-off sessions, planning discussions, progress updates, change management, client reviews, and lessons learned.
  • Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure project materials are available when needed by the construction team.
  • Provide regular project status updates to clients and the executive management team.
  • Accurately estimate the time and materials required for projects and deliver timely quotes to clients.
  • Manage client expectations while delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Supervise and/or conduct various electrical field operations, installations, and troubleshooting tasks.

Qualifications Required:

  • Journeyman Electrician license 309A.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant electrical experience in industrial, commercial, or institutional environments.
  • At least 2 years of experience in job quoting and electrical project management.
  • A positive attitude with a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
  • Strong conflict resolution, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Proven background in customer engagement and sales.
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
