We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at J.E. Agnew Food Services Ltd.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and excellent customer service are provided to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our clients.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure that our inventory is always well-stocked.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Hire and manage food service staff to ensure that our team is well-equipped to meet the demands of our clients.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our inventory management and budgeting decisions.
- Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure that our clients receive their meals on time and in good condition.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods.
