Job Summary

CAE is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Conduct quality control audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Participate in health and safety initiatives to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Optimize manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve quality.
  • Evaluate and improve method times for work tasks.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide technical support to management teams.

Requirements

  • Collegial diploma in a related field and a minimum of 3 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient reading skills and understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Process management and improvement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Bilingual spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and work experience at CAE, would be an asset.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of problem-solving methods and tools.
