Role and Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships between support groups and manufacturing cells to ensure seamless operations.
  • Implement and manage quality control processes to ensure high-quality products.
  • Contribute to health and safety initiatives to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Evaluate and analyze method times to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
  • Provide technical support to the management team to inform strategic decisions.

Your Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary diploma in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge combined with a deep understanding of manufacturing principles.
  • Proficient reading and comprehension skills for mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Leadership and teamwork skills to drive collaboration and innovation.
  • Process management and improvement skills to drive continuous learning.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Bilingual proficiency in spoken and written language.
  • Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and experience with CAE would be an asset.
  • Practical experience with problem-solving methods and tools.
