Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of a collaborative and supportive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply the nursing process to support clients/residents/patients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and promote quality services.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, patients, and families.
  • Participate in ongoing education and maintain competency congruent with Southern Health-Santé Sud policies and professional standards.
Requirements:
  • Current active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba/College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses and the scope of practice as defined by the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Current Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) certification.
  • Trauma Nursing Care Course (TNCC) certification.
  • Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice, and Code of Ethics.
