Position Overview:
Menzies Medical Centre is seeking dedicated family physicians to join our thriving clinic in Morden, Manitoba. Our facility is a dynamic and supportive environment with a team of over 20 family physicians and 2 Nurse Practitioners, offering a range of specialties including pediatrics, internal medicine, and sports medicine. We invite you to be part of our expanding, newly renovated family practice, which may also involve opportunities in emergency care, obstetrics, operating room assistance, walk-in services, and more. Our clinic collaborates with a My Health Team that encompasses mental health, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, dietitian services, social work, and chronic disease management. We utilize the Accuro EMR system to ensure comprehensive support for your practice needs.
Qualifications:
- Eligibility for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba is required.
- Must possess CMPA Coverage.
- Current ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification is necessary for providing emergency coverage at acute care centers offering obstetrical services in the region.
- Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population is essential due to the cultural diversity of our region.
- Proficiency in both official languages is crucial for designated bilingual positions.
- Demonstrated capacity to meet the physical and mental demands of the role.
- Commitment to confidentiality in all formats is required.
- A solid work and attendance record is expected.
Conditions of Employment:
- Completion and maintenance of a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check, and Child Abuse Registry Check, as applicable.
- All healthcare workers must be immunized in accordance with Southern Health-Santé Sud policy.
- A valid Class 5 driver's license, an all-purpose insured vehicle, and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00 are required.
