Project Control Officer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficient in project control methodologies, including project scoping, risk assessment, cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling.
  • Experience in project management or project controls within a nuclear energy facility is advantageous.
  • Knowledgeable in engineering and construction management practices, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on creating and presenting reports, briefings, project plans, and presentations.
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities, with a self-motivated approach to working independently and collaboratively in a team dedicated to engineering excellence and best practices.
  • Demonstrated interest in dynamic and challenging work environments where initiative and self-motivation are valued.
  • Solid understanding of governance and procedural execution, coupled with a questioning and analytical mindset.
  • Proven history of achieving results; familiarity with Primavera P6 is a plus.
  • Accountable for coordinating, facilitating, and advancing the Front End Planning Process.
  • Engage and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Develop and sustain an updated and precise project schedule.
  • Conduct monthly schedule updates and financial analysis.
  • Create and manage program-level schedules utilizing Primavera P6.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Business, or relevant certifications such as P.Eng, PMP, CCP, PSP are considered strong assets.
