About the Opportunity

The Department of Medical Imaging at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is seeking a highly skilled radiologist to join our team in the Nuclear Medicine Division. As a faculty member, you will play a key role in providing exceptional patient care, advancing medical knowledge, and contributing to the academic mission of the University of Toronto.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs and services
  • Participate in research and academic activities as a Clinician Teacher or Clinician Investigator
  • Teach and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Eligibility for an academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto
  • Fellowship qualification in Nuclear Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent
  • Strong preference for dual Fellowship in Radiology & Nuclear Medicine
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the Province of Ontario
  • Recognized post-graduate training in Nuclear Medicine following completion of Radiology residency and/or subspecialty Nuclear Medicine fellowship training (1 year minimum)

  • Estimated income range of $300,000 to $400,000 per annum for a full-time equivalent
