Position Overview:
As the Daycare Director, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our centre, ensuring a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children. You will develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that align with early childhood education standards, lead a team of dedicated staff members, and foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the centre, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children.
• Develop and implement educational programs that meet early childhood education standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of educators and staff, promoting a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with parents, families, and the community, addressing concerns and providing regular communication about children's progress.
• Oversee budget management, including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory management.
• Coordinate staff training and professional development opportunities to enhance the quality of care and education provided.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of programs and services, making improvements as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintain records of all operational activities.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the centre.
• Be willing to travel to different locations as needed for training, meetings, or other related duties.

Qualifications:

• Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certification is required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong understanding of child development and early learning best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in budget management and administrative tasks.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel purposes.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 42 per week
