Job Title: Shipping Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team at Fromagerie la Chaudière. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods.

Responsibilities:
  • Shipping and Receiving: Determine the most efficient method of shipment, assemble containers and crates, and inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate internal record-keeping systems and ensure that inventory levels are up-to-date.
  • Packing and Shipping: Pack goods to be shipped and ensure that they are properly labeled and prepared for transportation.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment:

Our warehouse is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will work closely with our cheese makers and other team members to ensure that our products are delivered to our customers on time.

Physical Demands:
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Standing and Walking: Standing for extended periods and walking throughout the warehouse.
