We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Model Validation Analyst to join our Model Risk Management team at TD Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for validating complex financial models used across various business lines.
Key Responsibilities- Model Validation: Design and execute testing plans to assess the soundness and performance of financial models, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with internal partners across Model Development groups to ensure seamless model validation and approval processes.
- Knowledge Sharing: Maintain and develop professional knowledge of techniques and developments in the field, sharing expertise with business partners and senior management.
- Qualifications: Advanced degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Data Science, Computer Science & Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in model development and/or model validation at a North American financial institution.
- Skills: Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, MATLAB, SQL, and SAS, with a strong understanding of stress-testing and regulatory requirements.
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
