Saskatchewan Polytechnic is seeking a highly skilled Co-operative Education Coordinator to join our team. As a Co-op Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing excellent service to students, employers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Support: Provide guidance and advice to students throughout the job search process, including cover letters, resumes, and interviewing skills.
  • International Student Support: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Government of Canada Citizenship & Immigration Study Permit and Co-op. Ed. student work permit application process.
  • Employer Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with employers, providing timely service and support throughout the co-op process.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including students, employers, and colleagues.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate leadership by example, representing Saskatchewan Polytechnic and the Co-operative Education department in a professional and positive manner.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in a field related to the Co-operative Education programs at Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
  • Two years recent/relevant training and/or background in sales, recruitment, marketing, or work integrated learning.
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Zoom, and the internet.
  • Experience in the province's labour market and familiarity with Co-operative Education as an educational strategy.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
