Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Mahone Bay Trading Company Ltd. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and provide assistance with purchases, answering questions and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product information, including features, benefits, and pricing, to effectively communicate with customers and make recommendations.
  • Sales: Meet or exceed sales targets by identifying and responding to customer needs, and promoting products and services to drive sales growth.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including merchandise displays and stock levels, to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, share knowledge and best practices, and provide support during peak periods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Will train, or equivalent experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
