Position Overview:
As the Lead Legal Advisor at Central 1, you will spearhead legal initiatives, provide counsel on various issues, and ensure compliance with legal standards. Your responsibilities will include managing transactions, supporting product innovation, and overseeing legal projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver legal services to various business lines and functions
  • Serve as the primary in-house attorney on transactions
  • Provide legal guidance for new products and services
  • Advise on contractual agreements and their interpretation
  • Oversee legal projects and coordinate with external counsel
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Central 1's offerings
  • Support the executive management team
  • Manage litigation and supervise team members
Qualifications:
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in drafting contracts and digital initiatives
  • Familiarity with financial institution regulations
  • Active membership with the Law Society
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and client service skills
Compensation Range: $150,000-$165,000
