About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our team at TD. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting and internal controls.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the planning and execution of internal controls over financial reporting (SOX testing) covering ITGC domains, IT application controls, and Interface Controls
  • Developing audit planning processes and ensuring the completion of appropriate programs and risk assessments to identify key risks and opportunities to mitigate those risks
  • Handling ongoing audit communications, including presenting findings and recommendations to clients and audit management
  • Presenting independent audit opinions on the adequacy of internal controls in accordance with established professional standards
  • Collaborating with regulatory and internal divisional audits to ensure all data is up-to-date and properly documented
  • Preparing and presenting complex reporting, analysis, and assessments to improve internal processes and activities
  • Supporting the entire audit engagement process and improving operational efficiencies by staying current on emerging business trends and developments, and analytical tools and techniques
  • Acting with the highest levels of integrity while observing regulatory guidelines and fulfilling due diligence by applying good judgment in handling confidential matters
  • Building a positive and open work environment by inspiring good working relationships, sharing knowledge and skills, and assisting team members with additional duties
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree with over 3 years of IT Auditing, IT Controls Assessment, SOX Testing Execution experience
  • CISA / CISSP certification considered a strong asset
  • Knowledge of IT controls frameworks (such as ITIL / COBiT) and related IT and business processes and operations
  • Hands-on knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook) and Internet applications
  • Proficient in working multi-functionally, providing guidance to other team members, and ensuring good relations across teams and functions
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment
