Senior IT Auditor role at theScore, a leading sports media and betting company, involves assessing and evaluating IT risks, internal controls, and processes to provide advisory services to the enterprise.

About the Role

Reporting to the IT Audit Senior Manager, the Senior IT Auditor will assist in independent assessments and evaluations of IT risks, internal controls, and processes. This role combines technical, auditing, and people skills to effectively advise and support the enterprise on risk-related matters.

About the Work
  • Execute audits of IT infrastructure, processes, applications, operations, security, and emerging technologies
  • Support and facilitate audit requests from regulators, external auditors, and business partners
  • Liaison with external auditors regarding IT process documentation, testing procedures, and audit findings
  • Conduct walkthroughs with management, document audit workpapers, and assess control design and effectiveness
  • Identify gaps or areas of improvement and evaluate their significance and potential business impact
  • Perform follow-up and oversee actions taken regarding audit recommendations
  • Assist in providing input and recommendations to audit management in developing a risk-based annual audit plan
  • Participate in special investigations related to Information Technology and system configurations
  • Work on initiatives to increase the effectiveness, value, and reputation of the audit department
About You
  • Undergraduate degree in Information Technology or Accounting
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation
  • 2-4 years of working experience in IT Internal Audit and/or consulting practice
  • Big 4 public accounting firms or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT platforms, operating systems, network services, security, and business applications
  • Experience with data analytics or an analytical mindset
  • Experience auditing large enterprise IT implementations
  • Knowledge of Audit assurance, governance, and control frameworks
  • Strong negotiation and mediation skills
  • Ability to present complex information clearly and influence the outcome
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to cultivate strong working relationships
