Job Summary
As an Inside Sales Representative (ISR), you will be responsible for generating and increasing sales through inbound and outbound calls, while handling customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. You will play a key role in building strong relationships with our customers and driving sales growth within the production animal division.
Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our product portfolio and technical specifications to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
- Proactively reach out to assigned customers and prospects via phone calls, emails, and other communication channels to identify their needs and present tailored solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for every interaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and logistics, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Track sales performance, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities for growth within the production animal sector.
Customer Relations
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing customers and build new partnerships through effective communication and personalized service.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers by providing expert guidance on product selection, application, and best practices.
- Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product development and enhance our overall offerings.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales transactions, and other relevant data within our CRM system.
- Generate reports on sales performance, customer trends, and market analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies within the animal health sector.
