Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Replenishment Coordinator to join our team at The North West Company. As a key member of our replenishment team, you will be responsible for coordinating store orders and flyer information for Giant Tiger, providing support to our replenishment team, and working closely with our Category Specialist to troubleshoot and monitor Giant Tiger related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal and external GT partners, monitoring flyer activity and advising replenishment and demand planning teams of order status and required timing.
  • Provide forecasts to demand planners against key activities, ensuring accurate and timely data is provided.
  • Monitor warehouse movement of GT items, flagging and raising items of concern to replenishment team and category specialist for review.
  • Assist in monitoring vendor lead time of data requirements for order fulfillment, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Ensure escalation of issues/questions to supervisor in a timely manner, maintaining open communication channels.
  • Export data from the SOMS system and distribute information to appropriate parties, ensuring data integrity.
  • Manage change requests between replenishment analysts and GT Ottawa, facilitating smooth operations.
  • Monitor placeholder SKUs and escalate SKU errors to category specialist for correction, maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Maintain GT Flyer Planner for review by replenishment analysts, ensuring timely and accurate planning.
Accountabilities
  • Accountable for the creation and distribution of replenishment reporting to GT partners, including daily inventory reports, fill rate reporting, and GT AR (Auto replenishment) reporting.
  • Accountable to safeguard data integrity within store ordering and MMS systems, enabling for the timely processing of replenishment orders.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or a combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Previous experience with RETEK and AS systems an asset.
  • Must possess a high degree of organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Display of enterprising attitude.
  • Previous customer service experience an asset.
