We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at Friesen Bain LLP Chartered Professional Accountants. As an Accounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Use manual and computerized bookkeeping systems to establish, maintain, and balance various accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including trial balances, and statistical reports.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare tax returns for clients.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Certifications: Required certifications in accounting or bookkeeping.
