About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Tom Smith Chevrolet Buick GMC Limited. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with commercial transport trucks and automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Issues: Use your technical expertise to identify and repair problems with automotive systems, including engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, and brake systems.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance services to ensure vehicles are running efficiently and effectively.
  • Test and Adjust Systems: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to their problems.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Collaborate with other team members to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in the field of employment.
  • Skills: Accurate, client focus, dependability, flexibility, reliability, and team player.
