We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor to join our team at Swan Hills Health Centre. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing and supervising the day-to-day operations of our Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging departments.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and supervise department staff and services to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Coordinate and organize the site Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging departments to meet the needs of our patients and staff.
- Perform site-specific manual and automated laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging exams, and cardiology procedures as required.
- Ensure compliance with established standards and practices defined by the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT), College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), and Health Professions Act.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other department leaders to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Completion of a diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT).
- Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT).
- Experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory and diagnostic imaging procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
