About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Server Assistant to join our team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler. As a Server Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate and meet the needs of our guests, ensuring that they have a memorable dining experience.
  • Support the Server team by delivering food and beverages, refilling drinks, clearing tables, and resetting.
  • Serve and clear all food and beverage items, ensuring that the dining area is clean and well-maintained.
  • Complete opening and closing side-work as assigned, including setting up and breaking down displays and side stations.
  • Monitor the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and ensure that it meets our high standards.
  • Have a thorough understanding of our menu and be able to describe food items to guests, as well as answer any questions they may have.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in food and beverage, preferably in a fine dining restaurant or hotel.
  • Solid knowledge of food and beverage products, including wine.
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Excellent commitment to service and teamwork.
  • Ability to obtain a Serving It Right certificate.
  • Ability to work in Canada.
