- Optical Services: Fill ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions, fit and adapt Contact Lenses, lenses, and frames, and determine customer vision needs.
- Eye Health Evaluation: Evaluate eye health using a slit lamp and assess general ocular health.
- Customer Education: Assess the fit and vision of Contact Lenses and provide training on correct insertion and removal.
- Communication: Communicate with CL Vendors and unpack delivery to ensure correct orders and customer fit.
- Follow-up Visits: Provide follow-up visits to ensure health post-initial visit and ensure fit and vision are correct.
- Lens Recommendations: Recommend specific lenses, lens coatings, and frames to suit customer needs.
- Frame Selection: Assist customers in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements.
- Measurement and Merchandising: Conduct measurements of bridge and eyesize, temple length, vertex distance, pupilary distance, and optical centers using appropriate tools, and maintain a visually appealing store presentation.
- Security and Quality: Maintain a level of security regarding company assets and ensure high-quality services through accurate measurements, correct pricing, data entry, and realistic delivery time quotes.
- Managed Vision Care: Maximize Managed Vision Care relationships and sales opportunities.
- Marketing and Promotions: Assist with the timely implementation of approved Marketing programs by executing marketing programs and initiatives, and company standards for signage and promotions.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience: In retail operations or a related field.
- CL License: Where required.
- Optician License: Where required.
- State Licensure or Certification: By a nationally-recognized opticianary association as an Optician.
- Experience and Results: In a retail or customer service establishment.
- Sales Skills and Accountability: Ability to sell through the use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
- Problem-Solving and Communication: Ability to present and implement decisive and creative solutions to issues/opportunities to grow the business, and provide enthusiastic and concise communication to meet/exceed customer expectations.
- Attention to Detail and Merchandising: Success in store merchandising and attention to detail.
- Prioritization and Adaptability: Ability to manage priorities through adaptability, willingness to take calculated risks, and follow-up.
- Computer Skills: Experience with personal computers.
