About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Operations Associate, Wealth Solutions. This role will provide client service support and accurate database management and document control for processing, recording, and managing all investment-related paperwork and data requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trade Details Management: Ensure all trade details are accounted for and correct before entering the purchase into the system.
  • Accounting Communication: Communicate with accounting on all relevant transactions.
  • Account Updates: Manage and update account changes in a timely manner.
  • Relationship Manager Support: Assist the Relationship Managers in managing the ongoing workflow of investment-related paperwork.
  • Registered Plan Trustee Correspondence: Correspond with registered plan trustee regarding registered accounts and required paperwork.
Requirements
  • Administrative Expertise: An administrative wizard with a good grasp of database management.
  • Attention to Detail: You love details and nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-focused mindset; you're always looking to help.
  • Financial Document Interpretation: Someone who enjoys reading and accurately interpreting financial (or legal) documents.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task while managing multiple projects effectively and a capacity for dealing with tight deadlines.
  • Confidentiality and Integrity: Strong sense of confidentiality and integrity is a must.
  • CRM Experience: Experience with using CRMs or other customer-focused software would be a plus.
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum three (3) years' experience in financial services customer service and administrative support.
  • Certifications: Completion of Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC) would be considered an asset. Completion of the Exempt Market Product course or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
