Pharmacist (Part-time Contract) Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Innomar Strategies in a part-time contract role. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of pharmaceutical care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispense prescriptions in accordance with pharmacy regulations and company policies.
  • Provide patient counseling on specialty medications.
  • Support and coordinate the activities of pharmacy technicians and assistants.
  • Assist in operational activities to optimize pharmacy processes.
  • Develop relationships with healthcare providers and patients.
  • Collaborate with Distribution, Patient Programs, Clinics, and Nursing divisions.
  • Report Adverse Events in accordance with provincial regulatory standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree or higher.
  • Current registration with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists.
  • Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and legislation.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in retail, hospital, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry.
  • Strong communication, customer service, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Strong business acumen and interest in working in an innovative practice.
  • Proven ability to organize time, set priorities, and multitask.
  • Understanding of cold chain distribution practices.
  • Working knowledge of Kroll and Third Party billing and contracts.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications.
