Retail Store Supervisor Job Description

Pier 66 Market & Liquor Store is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and cash handling procedures.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and meet sales targets.
  • Monitor and control store expenses, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
