Job Title: Director, Wealth Controller

At Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Wealth Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of finance professionals to deliver accurate and timely financial results for our wealth business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of finance professionals to deliver financial results for our wealth business units.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and effective end-to-end financial process controls are executed in your line of business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and external partners.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in complex financial service organizations in a controller or senior accounting leadership role.
  • Strong accounting background and experience, along with knowledge of IFRS and excellent communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of wealth product offerings and services, along with their systems and processes.
