We are seeking skilled Software Development Managers to spearhead a new engineering division in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of innovative customer solutions. Your commitment to operational excellence and quality will be paramount.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Steer the technical strategy and architecture of intricate software systems.
  2. Collaborate closely with a diverse array of stakeholders, including Product Managers, Data Engineers, and Operations teams, to identify business opportunities and drive comprehensive solutions and product strategies.
  3. Recruit, mentor, and develop talent; cultivate a strong cross-functional organization.
  4. Provide technical guidance and leadership throughout the product lifecycle, influencing best practices among software engineers and ensuring operational excellence for large-scale production services.
  5. Communicate effectively with users, technical teams, and senior leadership to gather requirements, articulate software product features, technical designs, and product strategies.
  6. Experience in recruiting, mentoring, and managing software engineering teams to enhance their skills and effectiveness.

The compensation for this role ranges from $171,400 to $286,200 annually, depending on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon offers a comprehensive compensation package that may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a full suite of medical, financial, and other benefits.
