Join Our Team as a Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and reliable software systems that meet the needs of our customers.

About the Role

  • Design and develop high-quality software systems that meet the needs of our customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain software systems that are scalable, reliable, and secure
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code meets our high standards
  • Contribute to the development of our software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
