About the Role

Western Woodworks Incorporated is seeking a skilled Truss Maker to join our team in the production of prefabricated housing components. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling door panels, trusses, and modular components to meet our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Manufacturing: Assemble door panels, trusses, and modular components to make prefabricated housing components.
  • Quality Control: Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards.
  • Logistics and Shipping: Pack items for shipping and distribution.
  • Documentation and Planning: Read blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; experience an asset.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to handle heavy loads, manual dexterity, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Work Conditions

This is a seasonal position with a variable schedule of 30 to 50 hours per week. The work language is English.
