Position Overview

The Assistant Manager of Housekeeping Services plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the establishment. This position requires a blend of leadership, coordination, and operational oversight to ensure high standards of service.

Qualifications
  • Education: Certificate or diploma in a related field
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a supervisory role
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the inspection of designated areas to ensure cleanliness and order
  • Manage and lead housekeeping staff effectively
  • Coordinate external service contracts related to housekeeping
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and departmental guidelines
  • Supervise maintenance and repair tasks within the facility
  • Conduct performance reviews and staff appraisals
  • Maintain an organized inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms
  • Coordinate in-house laundry operations
  • Schedule and delegate tasks to housekeeping personnel
  • Manage dry cleaning and valet services
  • Address and resolve guest complaints professionally
