The Ministry of Trade and Export Development is on the lookout for two dynamic and driven professionals to fill the role of Investment Attraction Specialists within the Investment Attraction Branch.
The Investment Attraction Specialist will be a diligent researcher and a collaborative team player, providing impactful investment attraction research and services that align with Saskatchewan's Growth Plan through our Ministry's Investment Attraction Strategy. This role will involve engaging with various sectors and stakeholders both locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends, potential investors, and business opportunities on a national and international scale.
- Utilize exceptional communication and writing skills to create detailed reports and presentations.
- Establish connections between industries and sectors, synthesizing data to offer strategic insights.
- Deliver effective investment lead research and prospect development services.
- Support the Ministry's investment attraction initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Maintain data management tools to ensure a thorough understanding of key industry sectors and opportunities.
- Gain insights into foreign direct investment (FDI) and global trade.
- Analyze economic, financial, and business scenarios.
- Effectively manage projects to ensure timely delivery.
