Job Title: Enterprise Risk Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Risk Analyst to join our Capital and Risk Management team. As an Enterprise Risk Analyst, you will play a significant role in developing, maintaining, and executing the Company's Enterprise Risk Management Framework. This includes risk identification, risk assessment, and monitoring, as well as reporting to the Board and its committees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the execution of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, including annual risk identification, risk assessment, and monitoring.
  • Support Management in preparing quarterly reports to the Board and its committees, including the CRO Report, Risk Dashboard, Stress Testing Report, and Risk Identification Report.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the organization's risk policies and frameworks, including the Risk Appetite Framework and Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Execute special Capital and Enterprise Risk projects as assigned.
  • Help promote awareness of the Company's Risk Management practices.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support the design, implementation, and promotion of the Company's enterprise risk management programs.
Requirements
  • University degree in business, finance, accounting, actuarial science, or another closely related field.
  • Completion/progressing towards completing a professional accounting, Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), actuarial, or CRM designation.
  • 2-3 years' previous experience in a risk or compliance role.
  • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • High attention to detail, looks beyond the obvious, and can solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
  • English is a requirement, written and verbal, to provide services to our customers and communicate with internal stakeholders.
Assets
  • Experience in insurance and/or banking.
  • Some experience with modeling, stress testing preferred.
  • Bilingual – English & French.
