About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Tokyo Japan Street Market Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food quantities used, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in packaging take-out food, cleaning, peeling, slicing, and trimming foodstuffs using manual and electrical appliances.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a high level of hygiene.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring timely restocking.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Maintenance: Sharpen kitchen knives and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Groundskeeping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Food Handling: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, adhering to food safety guidelines.
  • Work Environment: Work in an urban area, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
