Account Manager (Upstream Chemicals) Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Drayton Valley, Alberta, Canada. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of production chemistry supply and service contracts to ensure successful delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of production chemistry supply and service contracts
  • Provide on-site technical guidance and support for production operations, process engineering, and commercial and operational queries
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize chemical treatment programs to provide support to the production operations group
  • Prepare technical reviews and proposals of new chemical solutions to share with our customers
  • Prepare budgets and report on chemical performance and environmental compliance KPIs to our asset operators
  • Organize routine production chemical reviews and selection activities to verify changing customer needs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or technology diploma from an accredited university/college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of related oil field experience)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships with internal customers and suppliers
  • Self-starter with the ability to proactively solve problems and provide resolutions
  • Computer skills and familiarity with MS Office
  • Ability to work outside during challenging seasonal weather conditions
