About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Associate Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure DevOps solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Own the design and implementation of scalable and secure DevOps solutions, ensuring seamless integration with Jenkins and GITHUB for continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Apigee API Management: Guide the integration of Apigee API Management to ensure seamless API integration and management.
  • DevOps Tools and Concepts: Implement and run DevOps tools and concepts to streamline development processes, ensuring the adoption of DevSecOps practices to improve security throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Cloud Deployment: Use the Azure Platform to deploy and run cloud-based applications and services, leveraging Docker and Container Registry to facilitate containerized application deployment.
  • API Gateway Solutions: Implement API Gateway solutions to run and secure API traffic, automating infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives, supervising and optimizing system performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring the successful implementation of DevOps solutions.
Requirements
  • Azure DevOps Experience: Proven experience with Azure DevOps, including CICD pipeline experience, planning and board experience, and deployment experience with Azure Kubernetes Services.
  • DevOps Skills: Strong hands-on experience with DevOps on Azure cloud, including Docker, Sonarqube, and building and implementing outstanding capabilities.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent technical skills to review, verify, and validate software code developed in the project.
Nice to Have
  • Helm Chart Deployment: Experience with Helm chart deployment.
  • ARM - Azure Resource Manager: Knowledge of ARM - Azure Resource Manager for infrastructure as code.
  • Itsio - Service Mesh: Familiarity with Itsio - service mesh.
