Job Title: Metallurgist

We are seeking a skilled Metallurgist to join our team at Calibre - Valentine Gold Mine.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in metallurgical technology or chemical engineering technology, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in remote locations and have a strong understanding of metallurgical engineering and metallurgy.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement metallurgical processes and procedures to optimize metal production.
  • Conduct research and development to improve metallurgical techniques and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of the mine.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff members.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP degree in metallurgical technology or chemical engineering technology.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in metallurgical technology or chemical engineering technology.
  • Proven track record of working in remote locations.
  • Strong understanding of metallurgical engineering and metallurgy.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a remote location, with occasional travel to other sites as required.
