The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Facility Program Assistant in childminding at the City of Red Deer. As a key member of our Recreation Section, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality childcare programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care and support to children in our care, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to families and stakeholders, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized childminding area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless program delivery and continuous improvement.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Grade 10 or equivalent.
- Early Childhood Level 1 Certification.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Demonstrated high level of verbal, written, and listening skills.
- Intermediate First Aid Certificate.
- Commitment to the City's Cornerstone Values.

Remuneration:
$20.34 to $21.54 per hour.
Hours of Work:
Hours of work as scheduled with no minimum guarantee. Availability required for evenings, weekends, weekdays, early mornings, and potential split shifts as business needs require.
