Job Title: Communications Advisor

Job Summary:

The Communications Advisor is a key role within the Law Society of Ontario, responsible for creating, delivering, and maintaining effective web content and presence aligned with corporate strategy. This position requires a digital communications professional with experience in creating engaging content, managing web presence, and collaborating with IT and other divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement web content strategies to meet corporate objectives
  • Collaborate with IT and other divisions to ensure effective web presence and content management
  • Create and edit written and multimedia content for the organization's website and social media channels
  • Monitor web traffic and metrics to identify best practices and optimize content strategy
  • Manage content on the Law Society's internal and external websites, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards under AODA

Requirements:

  • University degree or college diploma in Communications, IT, Marketing, Journalism, or equivalent
  • Minimum of five years' experience in digital communications, content management, and web presence
  • Experience with Kentico, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Strong knowledge of web development workflows, implementation processes, and best practices
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
