Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to enhance our expanding workforce. This role entails the assembly, installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC and Refrigeration systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Ainsworth with professionalism and a customer-centric approach during all service calls.
- Interpret, create, and maintain technical drawings and specifications.
- Install and maintain air conditioning, heating, and associated components.
- Overhaul and service HVAC units and systems.
- Repair and replace components such as condensers, compressors, and pumps.
- Adjust and repair valves, piping connections, and fittings.
- Diagnose issues with heating and air conditioning systems.
- Install and configure motors, thermostats, and humidistats.
- Educate customers on proper equipment care and maintenance.
- Supervise and guide apprentices in their assigned tasks.
- Stay informed about modern equipment and industry regulations.
- Enforce safety regulations and interpret company policies to team members.
- Follow all company policies and procedures diligently.
- Conduct all job functions safely, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Comply with the Company's Quality System operating procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Current Certificate of Qualification.
- Proficient in tools, equipment, and practices relevant to the trade.
- Familiarity with HVAC/R codes, standards, and regulations.
- Understanding of safety precautions associated with the trade.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
