Position Overview:

We are seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to enhance our expanding workforce. This role entails the assembly, installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC and Refrigeration systems and equipment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Ainsworth with professionalism and a customer-centric approach during all service calls.
  • Interpret, create, and maintain technical drawings and specifications.
  • Install and maintain air conditioning, heating, and associated components.
  • Overhaul and service HVAC units and systems.
  • Repair and replace components such as condensers, compressors, and pumps.
  • Adjust and repair valves, piping connections, and fittings.
  • Diagnose issues with heating and air conditioning systems.
  • Install and configure motors, thermostats, and humidistats.
  • Educate customers on proper equipment care and maintenance.
  • Supervise and guide apprentices in their assigned tasks.
  • Stay informed about modern equipment and industry regulations.
  • Enforce safety regulations and interpret company policies to team members.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures diligently.
  • Conduct all job functions safely, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Comply with the Company's Quality System operating procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Current Certificate of Qualification.
  • Proficient in tools, equipment, and practices relevant to the trade.
  • Familiarity with HVAC/R codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Understanding of safety precautions associated with the trade.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
